Open the exe as admin, then you will need to select the game's exe file, the tool will backup the old one for you and will modify the current one.

Got to use the Wrathed launcher or Command post for launching mods. Either will work:

Bibber.eu = Wrath Ed Launcher, works like the (-ui) replacement, since KW was never intended to be mod friendly.

Cgf-uploads.net = Command Post is a more streamlined effort, that allows multiplayer support for most of the mods present.

So choose, if you enjoy singleplayer go with WrathEd, if multiplayer is more your fancy, go with the Command Post launcher, and enjoy.

Edit/P.S: You'll also need to modify the game launchers if you're on Origin UC collection, in order for them not to interfere with the mods, and do so each time the UC collection is updated. Link: Bibber.eu

Does it effects really? As far as I know,"cnc3ep1.exe" is a frontend of KW,the true EXE is "game.dat" in "RetailExe" folder...

Well I and others noticed the deferences so I assume it is, try spawn many many units like the nod basic squad without and with it and see if the game lag for you after you reach the same number of units in both versions

I have tested both, patched "game.dat" is sligtly better than "cnc3ep1.exe".But it still gets lag after spawning over 100 Nod military squads. So this patch is useless for great spawn lags...

Well it not break the ram limit :P
It just changed it from to 2gb to 4

Ra3 also limit to 4 gb iirc

I personally have way less lag issues I tend to had when my friend spawn many nod units just to annoy me thanks to that tool :P

Oh btw if you play against players make sure they also use that tool or else I won't be surprise you still not see different (since now the other side slow you down)

You may find it is down to the RAM Speed not the RAM CAP. Sometimes, RAM isn't everything, CPU power can sometimes have its own limitations. So be mindful of both CPU and RAM limits, and also the transmitting speed.

Speed is measured in MHz for RAM. If you have 1066MHz RAM, then the game speed will suffer. 1600MHz RAM can operate a lot better, making performance of 2GB (1600MHz) perform as well as 4GB (1066MHz).

RAM size allows lots of data to be read, RAM Speed allows data to be read/re-read sooner (quicker). Speed of information between the CPU and RAM is what is important in the case of large games such as CnC.

I found this tool when I was searching 4GB patch for Skyrim and surely this can be used for many 32bit programs. Is this the same from the NTCore's website?

Added, I would suggest better patch cnc3ep1.dat under RetailExe folder rather than cnc3ep1.exe cuz I found the former being more significant, no? When you look at the process monitor, you should see the most memory page allocated by the game is from cnc3ep.dat instead of the .exe. The exe game file, however, seems only plays the part as a program launcher and the memory size allocated by it is quite stationary around some MBs. The .dat, on the other side, occupies the largest in the memory often above 1GB. So I think cnc3ep.dat is the crucial game file.

It is a limitation on the number of addresses. Most older games have this problem where they can only address in a certain bit but the bits don't convert in any meaningful way. All 32 bit systems are maximum 4GB usage of ram; even if you have a TB of ram won't add anything.

Doesn't matter how fast your fancy computer is, It's how everything changes over the years. Graphics API's and hardware instruction sets become deprecated which these older games were used run on. That is why most of these games are being remastered so they can run on modern PC's. These games are best played on older computers. Unless patched properly, which they won't and even then they still won't run as flawless as they use to.
