This is a mod I've been working on, mostly for myself. It consists of 4 wads (All in a zip and easily removable, in case you want only portions of the mod.)
The nice part about this mod, is that I made it with doom constraints in mind (mostly). Everything (barring the protagonist) is scaled/palleted/sound-qualitied to match Doom, it can probably be injected into an IWAD the old fashioned way, I think. Everything is named to override a default doom2 file. This is so I can use it on just about anything, my dreamcast, my psp, yeah I like playing doom on a lot of crap. If I can figure it out, I'll upload a second file with my already doom-palleted protagonist and titlepic.
The first is a weapon sprite replacement, mostly from random games, Killing Time, Fate, whatever, and one or two of my own.
The second is the sounds for said weapons, all of them are taken from sound effect libraries and packs from the 90s. I think the crust is very authentic.
The third is a "protagonist", which means sounds, hud mugshot, and statusbar, drawn myself, sounds from 90s library. Also a titlepic.
Fourth is my midi soundtrack. Aaaaalll NuMetal, my favorite. Stolen from literally anywhere I could find them. Adema, Dry Kill Logic, Incubus's first album, Ill Nino, etc. I'll upload those separately later too, since I did one for Doom1 and Heretic. Talk shit and I'll take a chainsaw, I'll skin your ass raw.
