How to start voice acting tutorial

Well first off A nice and free program to start with is Wavepad Download.com
Now that you have your program it is time to start your recording.

Open up Wavepad. Now that you have wavepad open you will see a button with a red circle at the bottom click it . A popup will appear, Just keep everything the same experiment with the settings later. Click ok, now more popups one is called untitled and the other is called Record Control. When you record anything it will be visible in your untitled window. Now in the record control window you should be able to keep everything default. now click on the button in the record control window with the red circle in the middle(this button means record) Now you are recording! To stop recording press the button with the black square(means stop).

Now that you are done recording close out of the record control window. Now everything that you recorded is placed into the untitled window. Their you can play back, Cut, make louder, softer. Lets make what you recorded louder. First go to the top of your screen and press the Effects tab, now choose amplify. A popup will come up and will say Gain% this increases how much louder it will be from the original.

Now that you have your voice recorded it is time to save. Now first it's good to find out what your mod requires for the format. Most use .wav or .mp3 formats. Now just save the file and select the audio quality. The higher the bit rate the bigger the file and better quality. Hope this helps out.
