If Сontra launcher does not work, you have to copy Contra files manually. To do so, copy following files and folders from Contra mod into your Generals Zero Hour folder:
!Contra007.big
!Contra007-eng.big
!Contra006Music.big
00000000.016
00000000.256
Ariag.ttf
Install_Final.bmp
And delete Scripts folder from Data folder (ZH\Data\Scripts) - if you don't Delete Scripts Folder, AI will not work!
Some of these files are already existing in your Generals Zero Hour. It is recomended to backup original files before overwriting them.
im really stuck with installing this mod to zero hour, i have the first decade and whenever i download contra 007 i click to open it and it says that windows cant open this file, i downloaded 006 and managed to get it open and get it so i click extract then it says cannot extract because its as archive, im not good with all this modding and things so please help :)

i managed to install this normally with the install wizard on my laptop, with windows 7 64bit. however my desktop with vista 32bit needs to be manually installed, and these instructions didnt seem to help. however i noticed on my laptop that the scripts folder is still there, does that folder really need to be deleted?
i need help. i want to uninstall contra 007, but it still stays in the game.... i taken out the files (.big) and all the others that i found, but when i start up zero hour its still in the system. is there anyway i can get it out.... and yes ive tryed uninstalling the game and reinstalling it, ive tryed fixing it, and restoring it... but it just doesnt work. could u plz tell me how to get it out if u can. i want to download another mod. but it wont let me with this contra 007 mod in it alrdy...

If you didn't backup your files, then the only way to go back is to restore your computer to factory settings, or how it came. The two files that are messed up are 00000000.016 and 00000000.256. If you backed up your files, you should be able to just copy these two files back into your Zero Hour file, and select copy and replace. If that doesn't work, then there is no other way except to completely restore your computer. That was the only thing that worked for me, as I didn't backup my files the first time.

Uh, could you make how to uninstall tut... Because when contra 008 comes I want to install it. Or is there a trick to install 008 without uninstalling 007 :P?
I have the Ultimate Collection and have spent several hours trying to get it to work. The instructions do not work. At all. Keeps loading up the original Zero Hour.
