Awesome and addicting game, for a pre-alpha game. There are so many features and it is obvious that the creater(s) have tried He/She/Their best to make it as realistic as possible. With adding in the sight addition. This game is totally worth your money and time especially is you like Horror games with zombies in it or RPG games. But the only downside to this game is there is no Multiplayer. But since it is in a pre-alpha state it can be forgiven. My overall score is a 9/10!
Wow! I got way more than I was expecting from this game so far. It's got great gameplay/sound fx/graphics.
Shooting the **** out of robots with satisfying chunks and explosions everywhere. Way awesome. I like the upgrade system, remniscent of Red Faction: Armageddons'.
I got this in the St. Paddy's Day bundle and it's definitely the best of the bunch. Think of it as a Terminator style Painkiller.
The gothic futuristic type scenery is well thought out, the enemies you face are terrifyingly fast at times and can be a real edge of the seat nail biting moment or two when trying think of the best way to combat them which makes it alot better than most linear shooters.
The cutscene cartoon style while not my cup of tea fits in well with the theme of this game, i think its good the devs didnt spend thousands of hours rendering cutscene movies and instead put the quality into the monsters and other objects etc in the game for an indy company on a much smaller budget than a AAA dev or ublisher they have exceeded my expectations.
Game play wise it is a linear fast paced shooter with a few puzzles along the way and you decide also what items / armor or weapons you will upgrade. The only thing i wish was in this was a Co Op mode perhaps, but given the price and the fun i have ahd in single player i am not complaining ratehr i just enjoyed it so much i would loved to have had an option for co op.
Worth the price, and i give it 8/10
By far, this is the one of, if not the best, Freelancer mod I have ever seen. The graphics are fantastic, and considering how expanded the entirety of the universe is, and the enhanced effects, makes this mod worth, getting a new computer so you can run it on maximum settings without having a drop in framerate.
I love it! Although dark in its meaning, I love the randomness that goes throughout it all! The music, voices, and characters add to the hilarity that is this mod! Though, I need to leave a point off due to it being unfinished, and that the characters constantly get stuck on buildings.
Bit buggy. I crashed it immediately by dropping a bomb on the bonfire.
Fullscreen mode ***** up sometimes. There's no way to exit the game besides ALT+F4, and it ***** my screen resolution up. They spelled Encyclopedia wrong, I'm a spelling Nazi so that annoys me to no end.
But the game seems decent so far besides all these annoyances.
i dont like to critisise a one man indie company, but this game has some sereous performance issues.
The first problem is the strange fps drop while playing the game, turning off the shaders and lowering the resolution solves this a little (running around 18 fps accoring to fraps).
the second problem im having with this game is that when you change the resolution, the game doesn't auto-fit for your screen, so most of the resolution options aren't possible for me because black bars will occur in the game.
It is a nice concept (i really like the fact that the game calls me female names instead of jassy XD) and it's pretty fun that he implemented a weapon statistic system, because if he didn't the game would be a dull top view shooter
If you want to play a top view shooter, try alien swarm by valve, it has multiplayer and it is free.
I hope you keep creating games, going loud studios and keep improving your indie factor XD, your game DLCquest was awesome.
