(This review goes to 2.0 and it's features)
I've been following Misery for past year with really high expectations of what's coming next. Getting through 1.1 was one of my best gaming experiences ever. Now reading these features on wonderful graphically designed pictures every week is just so intense! Knowing, that there is a mod in progress which will give me even better overall atmospheric and gameplay experience, then ever before makes me understand, that waiting is worth it.
Thank you, Misery team.

This mod boast exceptional graphical overhaul and fast paced action. The CIS however were a little over-powered in that they could produce thousands of fighters with no end.

Teleglitch is one of the most creative, immersive, satisfying, deep and memorable gaming experiences I've had in years. The retro visual style engages the imagination, the core shooting action is visceral and satisfying, and the audio design further enhances that distinct sense of eldritch unknown malignance that hides around every corner. The random level "engine" is also genius. Each level has a distinct feel to it, but being made up of many parts "bolted" together in a random way adds just enough variety without feeling cobbled together. This game is brilliant. Please, please PLEASE make more levels, EPCC. I'm very much wishing to play more.

It's just great.
Good looking, good "dark" feeling, scary +mystery and more adventure than in the Slender game.

the two most important parts of any game are entertaining gameplay and an engaging premise or story. this has neither.

Great and very complete mod but the map is a little too big and the writings are too small

After I found out it uses content of other artists without giving credit, I decided to look more into it.

It's your 2012-esque hype jumpscare simulator. No gameplay, no story, a goal just for sake of being there.

The only thing it does is building up a mood. To bad it's because of the stolen music.

The mod has potential, although it seems that no work has been done on some kind of Middle-Earth map.

Easily one of the best semi-competitive multiplayer games I've played in a long time.

Gameplay is simple and really easy to pick up. There's a decent amount of customization in the way you organize your weapon and module selection, and there are enough combinations to fit every gameplay situation.

The multiplayer is top-notch. This game was built for multiplayer. One of the aspects that I really like is that player ships are weak, and respawning is encouraged. I've played too many games where I had to be conservative of my player's health and not take any risks. Bitfighter's really different in that regard, and I love it. Epic, reckless, all-out combat is a hallmark of this game.

That said, strategy's a big part of it, too. There is voice communication software built right in, and team chatting and quick chat messages. If I'm under attack, I can press a couple of keystrokes to alert my team of my condition.

Bitfighter comes with several game modes. There's a ton of variety: Classic modes, like Capture the Flag, and unique modes, like Soccer and Rabbit. Cool stuff. :)

Map creation is super important in Bitfighter, because there are virtually no stock maps. Fortunately, there's a built-in map editor, which is very easy to use and share. I personally own more than 1,200 community-made maps! No need to worry about new maps.

Best of all, Bitfighter is totally free, cross-platform, and is actively being updated. Not sure if we're in beta or not right now, but every version is playable. Join us!

tl;dr: Multiplayer space shooter featuring frequent respawning and hectic combat. Game contains several game modes, weapons, modules, and a built-in level editor.

+ Multiplayer
+ Lots of variety
+ Easy to make and share maps
+ Unique aspects
+ Insanely awesome combat ;)

- Community activity is intermittent, and it can be hard sometimes to find a game
- Bots are neat and good for playing solo, but are kind of primitive right now. They are being improved

Star Ruler

Game Review by henri.schoots on Feb 25th, 2013

The gameplay is really deep and the story told by the simple graphics most of the times truely epic. You research your technology, colonizing planets and design your ships and stations to defend your galactic empire. Wars with thousands of ships, you might even be able to destroy whole stars at some time and yet in these massive battles it is still possible to pick a tiny little scout hit by enemy fire and follow how it's crew struggles to repair vital systems before their life support fails. Design mining vessels that harvest resources from asteroid belts and manufacture goods, even ships in deep space, self replicating ships, artificial planets and build them. It takes a little getting used to and sure it is not easy but if you really give it a chance, especially with one of the mods installed you will be richly rewarded!

I could rave on (and on) about star ruler, I hope the next game these guys bring out is deeper, with more options and deeper simulation.

Star ruler also comes with multiplayer which with the right friends...
