This mod has been continuing for several years, providing a great experience for long-time C&C players. It brings back many of the units seen throughout Tiberian Sun, helping to bridge the gap between Tib Sun and Tib Wars. The detail is extremely well-done, and balance has been maintained exceptionally well between the three factions. The continued offerings from this mod leave me excited for more and to see this in its eventual final rendition.
First off, it doesn't end; you'll be commiting genocide until the Sun goes down and comes right back up! But you'll be dead long before then. The game is always ongoing and it just progressively tests your abilities . Definitely worth supporting the dev; this is one game I'll never regret buying!
This mod is created by the genius creators of "Battle-Force" and "The Forgotten Ones". These are also the same mods that use up tons of space for no specific reason, such as unused models and textures.
If you want to play BLACK SNOW, don't play it like this. The playermodels are all ripped off of various websites/games, and the game isn't even good with more than 1 person. Experience the original mod, not this.
I am one of those guys who just happen to have followed along this franchise for quite some time now
I started with a group of friends one or two years ago who were just looking randomly for some multiplayer mod that we could skrew around with for a day or two, but ended up finding Full Invasion 1 to which we spent hours and even full days endlessly trying to get to level 50 and win the map for each attack faction : P
Then came our briliant sequel Extra Invasion, this mod really took the cake for me and my boys, With the addition of legendary weapons such as the axe and the sniper rifle, we had a blast with all of the attacker and defender factions, the random boxes became something that you wanted to use and, TBH, the Cades were not so much of an issue untill around 30 as Legendary weapons were uncommon but not rare, which made the gameplay very fun and quickpased as a group of 10 would stand infront of 100 bots and mow them down one by one, twenty by twenty, the diversity of that mod was something special, which is the reason why it held the #1 Warband mod for almost all of its existance; However, the use of content from other mods and games was something that i personally did not trully aprove of, but i would never hate the game itself. There was a few issues with otimization where the starting screen would use 3GB or 4GB of processing, which wouldnt be a problem if that wasnt more then the actual size of the game, and more then when the game was playing :/
Now i come to the latest and as of yet most impressive work,
Full Invasion II
This mod offers a wide veriety of maps and factions, allowing you to experience a new faction and almost certainly a new map every time, coupled with a extensive around the clock working mod team like these who at this time have pumped out three or four massive updates containing multiple factions and maps and other key fixes and optimizations. Overall this mod is in key to become Incredible, while not Perfect yet, Its always a 10
Really, this is a complete homebrew game. The menues are nice and easy to navigate, the options are fairly good, and the gameplay is practically flawless for a psphb. The challenges may seem impossible at times, but then again you just need to get better at the game xD
The game is amazing. I have not had the ability to try it with new updates but based on the beta it is well made. The graphics are great for an Indie game, the controls are smooth, you know how to play from the get go, and the plot is well thought out. I am still trying to buy the full version but I am sure it will deserve a 10/10 as well.
Its certainly the best warband mod I ever played, with a great emphasis on teamwork, and when shield walls, or huge lobbies with alot of class diversity are created, things get really interesting and really big, as in 20 vs 200 at times. Great Mod, and almost the only one I [lay now :)
