Nothing else really supports indie. I mean Xbox kinda does it, its "Kudo" thing looks kinda cool...PSN does Indie stuff a tad here and there.

But compared to the scope of things like Counter Strike, theres really no comparison.

although this IS a PC modding community so I doubt to many are going to disagree.

PC for the win, although PSN and XBLA might be interesting. That said, there's no extreme quality checking on PC XD

Sure there is, it's called game natural selection. You develop a bad game, you are out of the market. It's pretty simple I think.

Besides that, it's a good thing there no quality selection it creates a barrier-to-entry free environment. If companies like EA had their way though no one would be able to create games except them.

DarkLord-pnd- Jun 10 2009, 10:40pm replied:

Because noone in their right mind would spend lots of time working on something just for fun, its only about money, developers like Valve don't just make games and say "Oh how nice was that of us to make another game, surely fans will love it!", its more like "Need more ideas, to make more money, think faster, time = money"

Umm tons of people HERE spend tons of time doing something for free and never expect to make a penny of off it. Doing it all just to see their ideas come into existence. If that is no longer the case then maybe I am in the wrong place.

PC all the way! Maybe one day when the consoles can support the abundance of custom content like a PC game, then perhaps I would go into that. But the PC is always the winner IMO.
