I have two local stores, GAME and GameStation (Which I prefer). I usually buy all my games from GameStation as they are generally cheaper, have a good return policy (I can take it back within X days if I don't like it) and you can trade in and buy cheap 2nd hand PC titles, unlike most other Game stores.

Get all mine from GAME, don't see the point in waiting for a game to arrive when i can go and get it from the shop.

Hmmm... I usally go to Frys Electrionics cause its cheap there. I go to Target also and Best Buy. But best buy seems liek it doesent care about pc games anymore cause the PC games are in a dark corner no were to be insite. Plus the ailes(how teh **** you spell it)were blocked my thouse tractor loking thingys that hold boxes. I am not sure if any other Best Buys are liek this because i havent b een to others. The only one i have been to is on Highway 101 in the Bay Area by Redwood City. If you leve near that check it out and youll kno wut i mean by Best Buy not caring about PC games anymore. ITS CONSOLE/HDTV INFESTED!!!

I usually buy my games from GameStop, because they have a used section where you can find some really good games that are cheap. Otherwise, since I work at Best Buy and get a discount on games there, I'm starting to change over. Other than that, I might try eBay some more.

Warez is in fact cheaper as games cost $100.00 Australian dollars. Warez costs nothing at all.

2 polls before we had this big Steam discussion... and now it's not in this list?!?

I usually buy at amazon. No more shops (at least not for planned purchases of new games) for me. None close to my home + games are sometimes sold out and it's a waste of time then...

I made the poll.

Not the best poll for #100 (didn't even realize that...), but a far sight better than some of the past ones, which I will refrain from mentioning.

Best Buy and Amazon almost always have much better prices than GameStop and EB. The only time I go to EB is if I'm looking for a used game.

EBGames, mostly. Or if I can't get it there, online.

Or if the company doesn't release a demo, Warez is cheaper! :) (I ain't forkin' out $AU100 for a game I might not like in the end anyways...)

Buy? ..... Games? ... Idiotic! Bit Torrent for the win! and if anyone says that's stupid, how much have you spent on games so far? Five-hundred? One-thousand? Here's my total: $0 ;)

I torrent a product and use it for exactly 3 days, as I do not trust, nor like, game demoes of any type or description. If I like the game, I buy it at whatever is closest that has it, which is usually Best Buy (unfortunately). If I don't like it, I delete it. I do not support game publishers but I am against warez even more. What we need is a complete removal of the publishers and things would be good.

To be stupid, you have to at least be aware of what you are doing badly. You don't appear to be.

I buy the games I REALLY want to have on a store called GameStage, in a mall near my house. If I had the money, I'd buy them all. I don't have, so I admit I download some.

"205 Votes: Warez is cheaper."
Well its nice to know that 12% of you ladies don't buy your games, if you did they might actually drop down in price. Games are forms of entertainment, they're a luxury not a necessity and you should support the industry. People have to make a living from making games, its nice to see how you're all so selfish and narrow minded. Mods are free, so why not buy the games and reap the benefits of mod communities? Would you steal out a games store? Nope, but its just as illegal. Just seems crazy and selfish to me.

Kudos goes out to all those who do buy their games, thanks for supporting the industry!
