Except, unlike Microsoft, I like what Google makes. There's a big difference.

Because obviously they screwed up Google Sketchup when they made it free for anyone to use. Not to mention that valve even made plugins for it that can be used to create models and levels for source games.

I agree, just nazi is the wrong word, they are super capitalists, adapted to the so called new world order, in short "Globalisation" in other words "Own and rule the Globe".
The word nazi should not be used in such a context, it is disrespectful.

Google has to much power!
1. Google adds all over the web -> Google could know which sites you visit if you log in in a site where you name/e-mail is displayed while logged in.
2. Google mail -> Google could read all your mails and you wouldn't even know it.
3. Google Chrome -> Would be a better version, to do what google adds could do, besides it is officially known that Chrome does record and report.
4. Plug-ins for firefox, if I'm not mistaken there is a tool in firefox that checks of each visit of a website if the website is on the google index, which keeps track if the site does install or offer virus like software.
5. Google Android -> Google could keep track of every step you take, to mention just one example.
6. Google navigation software -> Google could know where you are going and when you will be there.

Now tell me does this look like total control ?
Nobody ever offers anything for free, there is always a purpose!
So what is the purpose, besides kicking every one out of the existing well going market?
If there is no market any-more, you can't make money on it, unless you have total control over the market.

How ever, this is just pure speculation and I'm not a over paid marketing specialist, so my thoughts on this have no value in the Society and will be bashed anyway, but in a few years I can say "I told you so" :)

Real time document editing with replayable videos of its creation is pretty freakin sweet in my opinion. Some cool ideas that will shape collaboration on the net.

Maybe its time to setup a gmail account ;)

This looks very promising for any kind of group projects. Great way to share ideas in real time but still allow those not logged in to see what was said and provide their input.

I like it. It's very rough around the edges still, but we've been using it to coordinate/collaborate on staff and content stuff at Halflife2.net and it really is a great tool.

In fact it lends itself extraordinarily well to being a collaborative tool for mod development, I urge you guys to try it.
