I love mods... specially in UT, which as a great number of mutator which can be used together... ;)
But then again, there are rare games like HL which was enjoyable for some time. Hopefully HL2 will have lots of replayability.
I play the game first. No patches whatsoever.
And when I finish it, I treat myself to wonderful mods :D

I haven't seen a tetris mod (in either sense of the word) though.

You can play it in Uwindows :D it's really great and it's weird cuz it runs off UT O_o

the tetris was just a little joke of mine, and yeah i play mods much more than the original game, i guess because mods outnumber the amount of games available! :P

Since we have places like the beloved modDb mods are made by people who listen to the audiance who will dl it i know company do this too but not on the scale that you can at modDb

The originals get boring after you beat so you want to explore new worlds
mods are great (well mainly total conversions) .... well made mods anyway.... I know some people who purchase a game just to play a certain mod..
