Amnesia, Penumbra, Slender..yup, when not outside the house I will be playing these :D
Amnesia, and Penumbra are really scary. But slender is not so much.
I can't play Amnesia, because it scares me too much. On the other hand Slender doesn't scare me at all.

There should be a game where ammo is plentiful, but all the damage values for the weapons would be zero or like 0.01. Like 400 rounds kills monsters...

I think scary games are great. I just have never played any of them.

I may or may not play Penumbra this Halloween. It depends upon the weather. I might play it during the winter to get that "alone" feeling.
I tried playing that new slender woods game but gave up after 5 minutes, its horrible and i dont like being scared!
Hopefully Amnesia: A Machine For Pigs is coming out soon, there were no good horror games released since Amnesia came out.

Penumbra is really good too. It takes place in an semi-abandoned mine where people go insane and animals mutate.

Minecraft Pretty Scary update!
I can get through a scary game if there isn't a single thing for me to make fun of. If there's something that I constantly have to see that is laughable, I just can't do it, I laugh, make fun of it, and never touch the game again. If I can remain serious through the game, I'll probably love it.
Penumbra was really good, but I heard nothing about it 'cept from one friend (who wasn't too far into it). Slender is so popular and everyone calls it scary, but I played it and it was the most hilarious **** I've ever downloaded.
Slender: OH NO. It's LOOKING at me! With it's lack of eyes! Don't hurt me! Wait, you're only gonna stand there? Well screw you, I'm getting the papers whether you like it or not. Wait, what do you MEAN I can't win?
Penumbra: OH MY GOD, IT'S CHASING ME. No! Nope nope nope nope. Wait, wasn't there a door here two minutes ago?

Since I'm orthodox I don't celebrate Halloween, but I like scary games, although I haven't played many
Haven't met a game that actually scared me the right way. Always cheap jump scares at best.
I played Call of Cthulhu. Stopped playing because I was too afraid to go into the basement of this one house...
I played Amnesia. Bailed before I even got to one of the monsters...
I played Slender. I walked around looking straight down the whole time until I bumped into him...
So yeah. I play scary games, I just am terrible at them.
I think the best games are the ones that can scare you even when you're well armed. The underground levels in S.T.A.L.K.E.R managed to do that a few times with me.
