Not "sour grapes", but if I was "allowed" to go, and they reopened it to the public, I can only guess it would cost at least a couple hundred dollars not to mention air-fare/bus-fare/gas, lodging, food, and dumb merch like shirts, in what may run you towards a grand at the end of the day. I'll save that money for 10 times as many concerts or something where I actually have an experience to take home other than "I listened to a man in a suit ramble about stuff that wont even be in the game for x-many hours".
Don't get me wrong, I'm sure they'll be a lot of good games that run through E3, but it's a big event where people sit and listen to what is almost always a large line of marketing ******** and false promises (like the US election season) and see a few videos, and rarely get to play a rough early demo of some game for a few minutes. Might as well just not go and watch the videos online where I can cherrypick stuff that might actually be worthwhile and for free.
Much too big of an event for me. The only thing I see in these exhibitions are a bunch of rich game devs getting together and saying "Ha ha, this is what we have and what you're not getting for a very long time!" Of course with the internet these days I could probably just tune in whenever I feel like it and watch any presentation from the comfort of my home. If it was something local that I could just go in and go out of without having to schedule a flight I'd probably give it a shot.
maybe for me I'm not going alone there and also have to see how much the plane ticket will cost and hotel and all that ******** for just some new games but maybe, thats the reason I choose for maybe.
Why in the world is there no "No" option...? I wont be attneding for any of these as long as they are located in any other part of the world than Europe.
Anyone want to meet? Moddb.com
Pay me the plane ticket and I'll do it with pleasure
Same here if your feeling generous

Yeah I know... i'm lucky, thou the flight from Australia is damn painful... 14hours in the air!
Could be worse.... Like taking a canoe for example. XD
I'll cover for you. Just get me a ticket from Sweden.
While you may think I am joking. I am not. Now hand over that ticket.

Where's the "No" option? I don't even want to.
I 2nd. What I really want to catch is the TED talks.
Sounds like fun to me, but I agree, there should be an "I don't care." option in there.

(buried)
"If you can't afford it, don't buy it. It's really that simple."
Don't bitch, those are your words.
Those are my words, and I stand by them. I can't afford it, so I'm not going.
wheres the "i dont give a ****" answer? :D
No Valve... Wii 2... this one could go either way.
Much too big of an event for me. besides the unveiling of Wii HD is there another reason to be there? (besides free swag, games, celebrities and chicks?) Any other key announcements.
Wii HD? Is it like Wii but good?
Going to be there! :)
Ticketsssss, we need ticketsssss :D
Agree with the people who don't want to go / don't care / who feel like its to big an event etc :)
Where's the no option???
Im kinda really far from it... someone pay me the travel with the ticket ?
maybe for me I'm not going alone there and also have to see how much the plane ticket will cost and hotel and all that ******** for just some new games but maybe, thats the reason I choose for maybe.
Why no "No, I don't care about E3" vote option? Because that's what I would choose...

I'd be thankful if some you would make a video and send it to youtube. I simply have no time to attend :(
One day Scott.. one day ;)
I've had friends that have gone in the past though.
Where's the "No" option.
Where's the, "No, don't want to even if I got the chance" option... I mean, I would, but for other people...
Where's the "I can't be bothered" option?
There are too many guys wanting to go! Would the moddb staff be kind enough and give us tickets? XD
where is the "NO"?
is moddb becoming corporate? :(
Far from it, we will be hanging out at indiecade and talking to indie devs.
