Welcome WVS players!
My name is Patrik, and ZanMgt has been grateful enough to allow community members like myself to continue where they left off and complete the mod!
I'm working on the first new update with some special changes:
- Trees and all decorations, etc should all be fixed!
- WC3 races are reduced in strength
- New building with units (Infestation pit + infestor + infested marines)
- Re-made melee map to fight on
Patrik is working on some more models for the Zerg so some updates will take more time before they're ready for release.
The Basic/Advanced build method is bad and I've been trying to make a better one, but I've only succeeded in making it SLIGHTLY better, by removing the second click sound...
How do you mean it's bad? It's how Starcraft works... >.>
It functions, but it doesn't function properly. Clicking the advanced button cancels all queued orders that is in the Basic button, and vis-versa. I've come close to fixing this issue...
But unless there's a way to well...Change the order ID (Not string, ID) of Build Tiny Altar or Barracks (These spells don't have an Order String, but an Order ID), I don't think it's possible to fix this issue...
What I had in mind was:
Check if the order is equal to the OrderID of the spell that is being used, in this case Build Tiny Altar.
Then, replace that order with a normal build order.
This way, you hide the normal build icon using the original method, but you don't have to actually change the availability of the buildings...So queued orders from both command cards will work with each other!
Also, use this instead of forcing a UI key:
Custom script: call IssueImmediateOrderById(GetTriggerUnit(), 851994)
try use shift, this can't cancel the order or queue. Coz shift is for more orders.
Well, mind giving it a test? If it works, Patrik can go ahead and lump it into the update he's working on. ^^
If will Templarfreak something for me , i can use it :"
If you have a solution I would be interested. I was never able to fix it and ended up using two workers. One substantial issue is that AI doesn't understand that method for issuing build orders.
Looking good though.
Yea, true. This is Starcraft vs Warcrat .. and you play with zerg and no undead :D
