Welcome to the first ModDb news post from Chris Jones Gaming in over ten months............. 10 months, wow.
We'd like to apologise for not updating our ModDb page and to any of the followers of our mod who have tried to contact us here and have recieved no reply. Our mod is still very much in development, it has been since the Ultimate Universe Version 2.0 was released.
The main reason for our relative silence on ModDB is that most of our contact with followers of our mod happens within the Chris Jones Gaming Network. As such, we don't have a dedicated member of staff to maintain our profile page over here.
The best place to come and talk to us is on our busy forum, which can be found at Forum.chrisjonesgaming.net . Here, you can find pretty regular updates on the progress of the Ultimate Universe's latest projects, the Star Trek 11 Add-on Pack (for all those Star Trek (2009) fans who always wanted fully-capatible content for Ultimate Universe) and the Star Trek: Origins Add-on Pack.
So as you can see, a lot has been happening over the last ten months. We can't deliver a release date for the two products currently in development just yet, as any number of things can happen to delay their development, but as soon as we can announce a release date, it will be shown on the Ultimate Universe website, a link which can be found on the right-hand side of this screen.
We also want to acknowledge that some of you may have had some trouble downloading Version 2.0. This can occur because the mod is on a very large scale and any kind of blip in the download of the files can cause corruption that will halt the install.
Version 2.0 is available in two parts on our homepage, as well as here at ModDB. If you've been unsuccessful at both these places, we can also recommend a more staggered download approach at Star-Trek-Mods.com, where Version 2.0 Part 1 is split up into four RAR files, but Version 2.0 Part 2 does remain in the same format as the other sites which mirror the file.
Here are six videos showing you some of the content that will be available in the Star Trek 11 Add-On Pack. Four of the videos below, entitled Ship Showroom videos, are INTENTIONALLY silent, whilst the other two do have sound.
These videos are classified as semi-official mod videos, since they were made by an Ultimate Universe modder, but weren't made by members of our team's PR department.
