Hey guys! Me and my team are still working hard on Nightmare House 2, but we’re happy to say it’s just around the corner. I might sound like a broken record by now, saying how close it is to release, but I can say this: The whole game is fully playable from start to end and almost everything is in. We’re polishing, fixing and adding last few features to sharpen things out. It’ll be out this May, worst case June.

P.s I’d say, for the first time, you get a glimpse about Nightmare House’s storyline. Nightmare House 2 is the direct successor of the first classic horror map pack I released back in 2005. We spent a lot of time developing a deep story with a lot to explore, I hope you’ll enjoy it as much as we did making it. :)

Nice job on the teaser. Quiet a few nice touches. Only dislike was the hospital logo. There wasn't enough contrast between the colors, making it look flat and dull....and in the end looking a tad unprofessional.
I've got to disagree with BradNewsom, I think the logo does like quite professional! Though I suppose it's a matter of opinion really!
Making logos in color require a set of rules. The colors must be different enough to have good contrast between shapes. The logo's colors are too much in the gray area and look VERY flat in nature....but I never said the logo itself was bad.
Yes, that's all true, but hospitals, rehab facilities, psychiatric centres... They all tend to lean towards soft, flowing logo's, to promote a sense of safety, serenity, and/or reliability. I like it in this case because that logo is SO extremely soft (in the sense I described), that it provides super-contrast to the subject of the game. A more normalized logo wouldn't have done the same. This one was almost lackadaisical in appearance, so I think they should keep it.
I guess I can agree with that, but sadly because of just that, the logo looks like it looses light because the background behind it has a higher white value than the logo. In turn, the logo looks like its washed out.

I mean, I guess I could see how you might see it as a zombie game given the trailer. It's a tad misleading but trust that it will be awesome.
Yeah, mostly my fault. We figured out a really good way to implement a ton of different zombies in a sort time span and ran with it. Pretty much 'Just Because We Could'.

NH2 and Left 4 Dead have nothing in common, it's like saying that doom and HL are the same game because you shoot monsters in them.
About the logo, I made it years before the L4D logo even came out, back in 2005.
So please keep your criticism until AFTER you play the game.

i am tracking this one now, when i read the 2 behind the title i started searching for 1. and when i saw a movie on youtube of it i remembered playing that one too long ago. i liked it a lot although it was a bit short. but, i liked it.
therefore i am even more interested in this part2 because i like the horror theme a lot, and it's quit hard to get it done well. and part 1 did had some nice scary effects.
so, can't wait. but take your time to complete it well. better a few weeks of waiting as a quit disappointing gameplay.

Errr... what? Only the old one needs CSS. NH2 contains a remake of NH1 that does NOT need CSS. You ONLY need Ep2.

Its been a long time since I played the original and I hope you have kept the same level of immersion. my only criticism is that the name of the hospital sounds very corny but hey it doesn't effect game play so I can live with it.
