Wow. looks actually like a photo from a real Set.
hmm, while it is your project and your choices imo im not sure it fits with the post Nemisis era style. it seems to hark back to TOS/TMP styles.
Purely an engineering decision, my friend. We chose to expose the plasma conduits so engineers will have direct access to the plasma flow coming straight from the core. If we covered the plasma conduits, it would seem more like Nemesis, but we are thinking about what is best for engineering, not just what looks the best. If you mean colors-wise or material-wise, we will be adding textures and materials when it goes into the engine to make it more like Nemsis.
I like the set overall. It seems to have a neat design. I do think there is a little too much inaccessible space. Could I suggest a couple catwalks over the Plasma flow conduits.

The Warp core looks very Voyager like. However I think it should look a bit more like the Enterprise-E Matter - Antimatter warp core. Saying that I do love the look on the whole.
