A fairly small update this week, but we show off the new Slenderman model and one of the playable characters "Richard". THIS IS AN OLD ARTICLE, BACK WHEN THE TEAM WERE USING THE SLENDERMAN. THIS HAS BEEN KEPT FOR ARCHIVAL PURPOSES.

It seems our updates are getting smaller every week, but never fear. We have some juicy stuff to show off this week, even though there's not much to really talk about sadly.
Here's our Slenderman. Isn't he creepily pretty? Modeled by Kenny, we feel that our Slenderman will strike fear into the hearts of everyone who dives into Slender: Source, but hey if this image doesn't suffice your hunger for Slendy, than how about this image that was taken to test out his rigging?
So, that's Slenderman. We really hope you like what we're trying to do with him. All gangly, skinny and tall. And so people stop asking, yes he'll have tentacles. So please stop asking :)
Not only do we have Slendy looking hip, and new but we also have our first character modeled who is based on the likeness of someone tracking the mod, and a good friend of ours called "ninonybox". His character's name is Richard, and he's awesome.
Richard - The all around, normal dude of the group. Richard is a pretty nice guy and doesn't try getting in on anyone's issues. However, driving home one night he got into a car accident which killed his younger sister, and he had to watch her pass on. So, sometimes he'll suffer from incidents/nightmares where he believes she still talks to him.
So, Richard is currently our only player character who's finished his modeling, and rigging process and I love how he turned out.
That's essentially it for this week, so nothing really fancy to show off to you guys sadly. However, I'll be answering some pretty common questions below, and mentioning some new ideas for the mod that we've been talking about.
We will most likely publish it on Desura as well. We like making things easier for people. We're also gonna submit it to Steam Greenlight when that goes live so we can hopefully release updates, patches and bug fixes easier and quicker.
We take some inspiration from Marble Hornets. For example, we have the Red Tower on the forest map.
No, way! Slender: Source will be 100% free.
That's it for this week! Thanks for the continued support :)
