a bit of news for you all, over the past week or so there has been a few talks between myself and a couple of people from the DMC:S team, after a couple of days of talking things over, Q1:Source has been absorbed by the DMC:S team (moddb page Moddb.com ) this move comes after we realised that both were working towards the same goal, so instead of having 2 mods going head to head and doing twice the work, we figured it would make everyone's lives easier to become one and make one solid mod instead of two.

Yay, now hopefully a decent remake mod is finally finished. I've only been waiting 5 years or so.

So let me get this straight, is it like gonna be Quake 1 but with DMC:S with it? like as multiplayer?
Well, since he made DM3, I assume Q1:S always intended to be multiplayer, and I think they wanted to include single if they could. Since DMC never included single player, I'm not sure if there are any plans for it with the merge...I really think it would be a nice addition if they have the time (They still have over a year...so..), but I guess it's up to them.
You could always go over to the DMC:S pages and ask Triggs what their intentions are, though he may not give you a decent answer...
