Bottom one looks better, can't really say why though it just looks real good to me :D
Agreed and I can say why. It's because it blends better with the rest of the visuals (the game world is less hidden) and at the same time clearly shows what needs to be shown.

It's easy. Because it's more transparent, and makes it blend more, while still being plenty attractive. Also it means you can admire the work they've done on the game's visual aesthetic.
by 'completely new' HUD, you mean, 'almost identical' HUD, it just looks like youve reskinned it, its nicer then the original one, but its not that different to justify saying its completly new
new one looks more futuristic, and the contrast makes it looks slightly better, however both of them look fine.

Why not include both and have an option to switch between them?
