Greetings Comrades!
We’ve reached the point of development where we are in need of some voice actors to provide unit voices and other such audio things for Dawn of Victory. Rather than rely on my amazing talents to provide the voice for every unit, which we came seriously close to doing, we’re going to open it up to any of you out there. If you think you can provide some high quality unit voices, check out our list of requirements below.
- Must have a good mic. – Small bits of static are acceptable, after all, military communications aren’t perfect, but we do need to understand you.
- Must have a German/Russian/Chinese accent that doesn’t suck. – Obviously being from Germany or Eastern Europe gives you an advantage in this area, but if you are from Lowell, Massachusetts, you had better not sound like it!
- If you are 13 get out. – You should probably be of age to join the armed forces if you want to apply. But if you’re 11 years old and think you can fool us, go for it.
All these ships and more need voices!

We would ask that your sample showcase either a Russian or German accent, if you send us your Abraham Lincoln impression no matter how good it may be, it doesn’t give us an idea of how you would sound as a Slavny Light Cruiser.

I would concider this, but i know nothing of audio recording. I can write some neat lines thought, so pm if interested i guess..
same goes for me.
I'm the opposite, I've always wanted to give voice acting a try, but couldn't think of any cool lines.

I am from Taiwan so I think its safe to say that I do have a Chinese accent, but I don't know anything about voice recording.
Why Chinese though? They are not a major faction in this universe right?
They make more than half of the Soviet Union in DoV.

I was concidering trying to voice act... then i remembered... Im American and i suck at accents.... So i guess ill just sit here and pout. Also... Next video you make, please rants more. Its the best. no really. the ranting is amazing.

Got a good studio and i alredy am a voice actor spoke in a german swine and a russian dog for ww2 cartoon at my old college. (age 19)

do you have everything you need? i say this because i couldn't find a time frame for when you can send in your samples...
I have a suggestion for the Odessa: have one of its attack quotes be something along the lines of "Fire torpedoes." It makes some sense given the torpedo 'pontoons.'
We considered this but ultimately rejected it in favor of our previous plan, making the captains say to arm weapons that don't exist on the ship, as well as various grunt noises.
