Vector Prime development picked up by the community news

After a long period of inactivity, Vector Prime development has been picked up again officially... This time by the community!

Introduction
Vector Prime was developed 3 developers. The last official developer of the modification was Arachno. Since he has fallen inactive in developing the mod, several community members have asked the ModDB administration to allow us to continue development of Vector Prime.

The state of Vector Prime
While Vector Prime has come a great way, it isn't finished yet. It still has several bugs, and misses some models (like the mining ship and the colony ship). Next to that, it also misses several real Star Wars maps.

What we are going to do
We will be adding some new content, like new nebulae, asteroids, models, maps, intro menu (!) and more! These will all be developed by community members. If you want to take part in the developing, or if you can supply us some models, you're free to contact BBalazs or me! Also, the first fruits of our work have been uploaded and are awaiting approval in the form of Major Update 2. If you find any errors in this update, report them in this news post!

Upcoming steps media and communication-wise will be forums (for matchmaking, discussions, etc.), new screenshots & also eventually new videos. Information about these will be posted here as soon as we know more!
