Hello all.

I expect you're all eager to see updates on RuMpel's masterpiece mod, "Afraid Of Monsters", so I'm here to quench your thirst.

Both RuMpel and I have been hard at work churning out update after update and constantly polishing and refining the bad parts of AoM and improving on the new. So, what is new?

Well, as you may have noticed, all new weapons models and animations (Albeit perhaps temporary until all proper permissions have been obtained) that greatly enhance the visual delight of the mod, yet retaining its deeply unique style. Weapons now behave in a manner that we believe will be beneficial to your playing experience, rather than the original Afraid Of Monsters weaponry, which, unfortunately due to limited help for RuMpel, behaved like the defaults.

There will be many different and massively improved levels, differing each time you play, depending on certain choices you make throughout the game, which will also affect the ending you receive.

Not only the weapons, but the monsters have been revamped too! They're a lot more intense to fight and visually more terrifying.

The fright factor has been cranked up ten-fold, so make sure you have a spare set of underwear handy!

Not enough for you? We recently implemented a new flashlight system - Your valuable flashlight for lighting up those terrifying dark areas will not recharge on its own any more - You have to find batteries if you want it to work! This not only adds to the scary atmosphere, but also makes you think on your feet - Do you brave the dark areas or use some of your flashlight energy? Or do you search for more batteries?

Afraid of Monsters - Director's Cut - Coming soon.

I don't know what's going on with that enemy there, and I don't really want to :S

Good job. Looking top notch, especially some of those environments.

hmm, everything SEEMS good, sans the battery life. i hope you provide enough light for us that we can conserve the batteries. the original AoM was almost wholly pitch-black and so i had the flashlight on nearly the whole time.

hopefully you'll at least make the flashlight a little more flashlighty (a la paranoia- have you SEEN their flashlight? holy ****.)

This looks like its gonna be crazy, so can't wait to see the finished product.

I better go buy some rubber pants lol, the first one was scary as it was (got a little routine after a
while but then you'd still get me with something completely unexpected haha )

This looks amazing, don't release it before I get the chance to finish the original ;) I agree with deathtoll, a Paranoia like flashlight would be so much nicer! But I bet it was hard as hell for the P devs to get into their mod, so I don't expect you to implemment that feature.
