- Firstly it is available NOW exclusively from PlanetPhillip.com.
- Following that, it will be released elsewhere (including ModDB) on Saturday 1st March.
- Finally, it will be included on the cover DVD of PC Action magazine in Germany at the end of March.
Short but outstanding mod/maps ! Mapping is incredible, environments are practical : interconnected rooms or multiple level fighting (antlion invasion, hunter showdown), even attempt at a maze (before the elevator, not that I got stuck :P). I also enjoyed those things that made me think of memorable scenes in the Half-Life saga (coop with a vort in Ep2, elevator stress in Ep1, the laser thing that took down the Zombies in Ep2 [forgot the name]...)
Just some complaints : there were in my opinion too many antlions during the "invasion", you may have some sort of challenge like in Ep1 when you must to block the antlion hole's with cars...
same for the "hunters encounter" : you may keep only 2 but add some "death" traps (they are very strong so they could use the environment against the player + they're smart)
Really great maps you made there + coop with a vort is reason enough to play this mappack ! I hope you eventually turn the story into a full mod with chapters and all. Wish you best luck ;)
Yeah, I feel the battle with the Hunters is a bit unbalanced without being able to catch their flecchettes and chuck it back at them with the gravity gun or a stronger weapon... just my opinion. But other than that, very well put together map, much better than most.

That was a great mod 9/10 from me :D One thing was at the end dont let the player run around so much and put your credits on a black screen or fade out, i was all :O credits?? Lol great work tho, hope to see more!

I'm stuck at the first big Antlion battle. I can't find anything to interact in the room - am I meant to just sit it out?
Well you have to kill all antlions in the room... when this is done go upstairs and the vort will open the door by charging the teleporter-like thing ;)
Yeah, you just have to survive until they stop coming.

Thats after I'v flipped the switch, the door opens but nothing else happens. I am not able to walk through it. I have tried using my one grenade on both white doors to no effect. I am able though to hear what seems to be the vorge guy who helped me earlier.
There is help in the readme, but I'll put it here too. After the vortigaunt opened the first big door for you there was a button on a terminal on the right. Press this button to keep the gate held open (this applies to all the doors like this that you see). If you proceed with the vortigaunt you will see what is actually supposed to happen with that gate.
I see the problem now with allowing the player to proceed without the vortigaunt, heh.
Yeah I'd say so especially when you factor in that fact that there is no way to go back.
Ok finished it, good game. Well worth my bandwidth and time, now it just needs an ending.

I won't announce or confirm anything until it's well under way (as I did with Union) but I would definitely like to make more.
