Tour of Duty has released a patch "that" only fixes bugs!
This patch addresses many of the concerns and suggestions of our fans. We have reduced the damage of all explosive weapons, redistributed the weapons load and rewrote several sections of the network code. Rocket accuracy is also affected by morale, stamina, movement, crouching, etc, and you probably don't want to try firing while jumping :P There are also as many bug fixes as we could pull off. See the readme.txt file that gets installed with the game for a complete list of changes.
We spent countless hours under the hot Vietnam sun out on the target range testing all of our weapons accuracy, rate of fire and damage in order to give you the most realistic experience possible while keeping gameplay fun.
This might not have new maps or models but this will do for me!

i wonder what they mean by dont fire when jumping... *sigh* looks like they ruined the rpg from the sound of it...
Yeah, we'll never win with rockets. We had someone come post on our boards to say they've gotten rid of the mod because of this.
When 99.9% of your users are whining about one issue, and you try to fix it (with a comprimise that is NOT getting rid of the weapon and NOT that extreme), you start questioning your sanity in trying to please the public.
I guess that's why mod dev teams eventually ignore their fanbase, it's the only way to stay sane :(
Most people in vietnam were crouching when viring the rocket or in the bushes. They wouldnt jump cause by the time the got one foot of the ground they be DEAD!
