I have the gun, but it just doesn't fire. I know you probably can't fix the window size problem, since TK is a mod. But Quake 3, for instance, doesn't have that problem. Neither does my own 2D shooter. So it should be fixable somehow. But it doesn't happen when I disable the refresh rate override in the Nvidia control panel, which helps a bit.

Maybe you could try installing the game on a computer where it hasn't been installed or developed earlier and see if you get the same problems?

Tyen, you don't need soldat in order to play this. It says all files needed to play the game are included and thus it is standalone (though hopefully the author read the terms of service of Soldat very carefully to make sure this is a legal move). Perhaps hardcore Soldat fans will love this, but I was hardly impressed. The "file not found" error when I first start a map was an interesting feature and I'm glad the author decided to put it in. ;)

I'm curious as to how you managed to generate that 'File Not Found' error when loading a map in Total Kommando - it shouldn't be possible. I'd like to fix that ASAP, so any information you can give me would be really helpful.

Yes, you don't need to download Soldat in order to play, and no, it doesn't violate the ToS to distribute the free portion of the game to ease the installation process somewhat.

I also got a 'file not found'.

And the background image seems to be missing ,screenshot.

I also can't fire the gun. I can fire grenades, and the right mouse button fires the rocket boots or whatever. But no primary fire. The control settings look correct, it's set to right mouse button. I only tried deathmatch, and not online.

The resolution switching, back and forth between 640x480 and something else screws up my window sizes badly. Very annoying.

torhu: the window sizes thing has nothing to do with TK, it's a Windows "feature." Make sure you've selected the gun you want by clicking on it when the selection screen comes up, otherwise you'll spawn weaponless.
