That's right Titan: XCIX - Part ONE is complete and ready for release, so head onto the download page now or alternatively download direct from Desura.
Titan: XCIX is a first person adventure that takes place aboard the ill fated star ship of the same name. When an accident rips apart a lone ship on a routine mission, the crew find themselves fighting for survival, and each other in a unique Single Player experience, that's been in the making for the past three years. Developed single handedly by Robin "IZaNaGI" Molde (Jailbreak!: Source, Survival Mod II for JK:JA), Players will face many challenges that will test their brains rather than their trigger fingers.
Please ensure that the Installer installs on the same drive that Steam is located, as it is currently defaulted to (C:). Requires Half-Life 2: Episode Two.
In order to enjoy Titan: XCIX - Part ONE fully in 16:9 you will be required to also download this patch, which fixes issues with the VGUI stretching across the screen.
Mass Half Life Effect!
But no, seriously. Looks quite interesting and beautifully done. I'm going to have to try this out ASAP. Congratulations on the release!
"This is commander Shepard and this is my favourite mod on the Citadel!"
It's a bit more like Dead Space to me :P
But yeah, this is a great mod, can't wait till part two!
Yay! This is the single player mod I've played in a while :D
i think you might have accidentally a word
Great news. It's always nice to see ambitious releases like this. Can't wait to download.
tracking ^^
The front page has never lied to me before! I'll have a go at this!
Looks like a lot of work went into this project. Nice work capturing our attention!
Must play!
stuck in the start the generator room with those 5 consoles .
You could easily try random combinations until it works
You have to locate the a blueprint showing what combo you are to use. After that you just have to screw around with the pattern until it fits :) Just doing it randomly won't work to my knowledge.
Worked for me...never found a blue print. I did it Mastermind-style. Took me 3 tries.
Thank you for all of your comments. It's great to know (after working on this for so long) that people are actually enjoying the effort put into this project.
Keep your comments and reviews coming as they will help shape the future of Titan: XCIX.
Outstanding mod! I loved everything about it.
My only criticism is that the dialogue has a slow pace, the voice acting itself is good, but it seems there's too long of a pause between sentences, something that I believe should be improved in the next episodes.
I also experienced a bug after that segment with the zany crewmember locked up in the room with the tanks and valves, after I hum... 'reasoned' with him the game told me I had found a certain key item, but it didn't actually give it to me. I had to load a previous save and do it again, no big deal though.
Anyway, I am very impressed! It's amazing that you have done such a polished and well made mod all by yourself. I wish you good luck with the rest of development and hope everything goes well.
Awesome!
Those of you interested, over at Modinformer we interviewed him awhile back.

desura install button isnt working for me :(, back to the old fashioned method :P
Are there English subtitles ?
Beautifully executed so far, 2nd best voice acting I've ever seen in a mod (next to anything voiced by TheChineseRoom). I also am glad to see someone else besides me knows the displacement trick to make smooth corners and complex geometry.
Amazing mod. I really like the story, anxiously waiting for part 2!!! ;)
From the trailer it looks actually pretty awesome and from the brief sample of the video the voice acting seems to be excellent. Will download this straight away.
Very cool, though the dialogue seems a little clunky.
Not bad, all at the professional level, even wondering what will happen next. Cool atmosphere. However, I would call this mod "Red Space" :P
When I try to start this mod, it starts HL2 EP2 instead.
Woah. You put a lot of work into this. I'm gonna track this until I install HL2 again.
Also, is the Desura link down for everyone? Because I can't get it to work either way.
FRONT PAGE NEWS!
By the way, if you are having trouble installing the mod through either exe or zip you'll probably have to add an extra parameter - "Program Files (x86)". This might happen for some Windows 7 users.
:}
Definitely one of my favorite mods this year. Great work!
I love it , I love IT ,I love it !!! can't wait for part 2 !!!!
Anyone else reminded of the space station map from Jailbreak when they watch the trailer?
Very cool, just finished it. Nice work. :)
Great job on this. I'm a bit concerned about how the next parts will play out, seeing as combat would probably be required. Also, one of the characters seemed to have an Australian accent for a short bit near the end. Otherwise this looks extremely promising in my eyes and I'm eagerly looking forward to the release of part two. :)
Downloading now, thanks.
have you thought of redoing the ship model?
I like to get a walkthough of the puzzles please
Might have to check this out.
Looks amazing but I don't have HL2 Ep: 2. Phooey.
Good mod, reminded me of System Shock 2, will see how the next episodes turns out.
Hm, that was fun. I do enjoy that water effect you had on the roof in that water area. That was sick
Pretty damn good, except for the captain's voice which sounds over-dramatic. Reminded me of SS2.
Simply fantastic work here, if you haven't downloaded this you ARE missing out.
Amazing thing! I love the look of it...
Err.........part two?
