The good folks over at Rooster Teeth, who have been producing the acclaimed Red vs. Blue series, have come up with a new idea and a new series. Amidst the work on RvB season 3, they've started a new project called "The Strangerhood." The series will be their first foray into producing episodes using a game engine other than Halo.

The series uses the new Sims 2 engine, and conviently, the movie making tool the developers have included in the game. We may soon be seeing a slew of original content made by fans using this new feature, and it is interesting to note how the developers of the Sims 2 decided to include this nifty feature to their players, and embrace the creativity of their fans.

I love films that use game engines. Where often crazy and furious fun.
