The Sith Order has been reduced to nothing more than a myth. A whisper. A story told to make children behave. Many believe they were killed out long ago, wiped out by the Galactic Empire, the Federation, the Jedi, and some rumors even indicate the Mandalorians played a part in their destruction. No one has confirmed anything, but they have not denied it either. Why should they? The Sith are the most feared beings in the Galaxy. To confirm their existence would only bring back that age old fear to the masses. The Sith Order has not been seen in years, maybe they have gone? Maybe they are well and truly dead?
But that is just wishful thinking. The Jedi Council knows this, they know the Sith are hiding somewhere. Hidden in the darkest corners of the Galaxy, waiting, plotting the demise of all who stand in their way. The Galactic Federation also knows this, to an extent. Many in the High Command realize this, including the Chancellor himself. But they don't admit it. They'd never admit it. They would prefer to live on in peace, in ignorance. For the Sith only bring Death and Destruction, and both in abundance.
The Mandalorians are a strange people, a fearless one. Honor bound, a culture based on War. Yet even they must fear the Sith. They may not admit it, they may well charge into a thousand Sith without hesitation. But that is their honor bound duty. That is what allows them to ignore the fear. But not to overcome it. The Clans have heard rumors of strange robed men wandering on the planets in the Outer Rim, of people being stolen in the night by mystical sorcerers. Sometimes these rumors come from inside the Mandalore sector itself. Many of the low ranking warriors dismiss the stories as wive's tales. But the Clan Leaders know. They know the Sith are returning. But what shall they do? Greet the Sith as age old allies? Or fight them alongside the Jedi? Or will they simply ignore them, wanting to neither face them in combat nor fight by their sides? Only time will tell...
The Imperial populations still hold memories of the Sith. Fear, mainly, as everyone does. But in some way, some strange way, they are also thankful. It was the Sith that allowed their great Empire to rise, it was they who protected them from the many dangers the Galaxy has to offer. The Empire itself, however, has a rather different view on the Sith. Their Emperor hates them, and the Moffs follow suite, though more out of fear than anything else.
The Sith, as you can see, inspire so much fear into the Galaxy. Whilst in the past, the people had the courage to stand up against them, to resist them, to fight them, how will they do so now? How can you fight a story? A mere whisper? An echo of what once was? This fear, the fear of the unknown, has allowed the Sith to regain much of their former power in the Galaxy without having to do anything. And they shall use it. They shall use it well...
"Fear. Fear attracts the fearful. The strong. The weak. The innocent. The corrupt. Fear. Fear is my ally."
The Military of the Sith Order:
"The Clone Troopers, now proudly bearing the honourable rank of Imperial Stormtroopers, have tackled the dangerous work of fighting our enemies on the front lines. Many have died in their devotion to the Empire. Imperial citizens would do well to remember their example." -Lord Cronus
The fearsome Clone Legions are under the direct command of the Sith Order, though this is a fact unknown to all outside Imperial High Command and the Sith Order. The Legions are fully loyal to the Sith Order and will serve fanatically. Around ten Clone Legions have vanished from Imperial records, including the famed 501st, and their current whereabouts are unknown. The Clone Troopers are among the finest soldiers in the Galaxy, superior to most soldiers in the galaxy. They are not to be taken lightly.
Role: Special Ops, Elite
The Sith serve the Sith Order as its enforcers, commanders, special operations forces, warriors, spies, saboteurs, scouts, technicians, slicers and any other role required. They are capable of dealing with most situations, and can always be relied on to get the job done. They used to come three main classes: Assassins, Marauders, and Inquisitors. If this much remains the same is unknown. Not much else is known about how they operate, their weapons, their armours, or who accompanies them on their missions. Estimates by Imperial High Command hold the Sith Order to be as low as 50 members to as high as 500, though no definitive number has ever been found. The Sith are a mystery to even their closest allies, let alone its enemies.
