We've decided that it's about time we begin to dole out some previews of the massive amount of voice acting included in The Nameless Mod. At last count, TNM included approximately 13,000 lines of dialog, which will make up about 6-10 solid hours of voice acting.
The first tidbit we're tossing out is a conversation between the player and a rather odd individual whom he finds in an abandoned parking garage. Behold:
The actors featured in that video are Edwyn Tiong as Nosferatu and Matt Watson-Howatt as the player character. Although much of the lines have already been recorded, we are still on the lookout for talented voice actors. If you'd like to contribute, please shoot an email to voicesubmissions (AT) offtopicproductions (DOT) com
We'll be making an effort to keep throwing out voice acting videos as we progress; if you'd like more detailed information on progress, check out the website: Thenamelessmod.com
the voice work is great considering its a mod but something in the rythm seems a little off to me, overall nice job though
Thanks for the comment!
It's definitely a challenge to get the voice acting to sound natural when we have all our actors scattered across the globe, with as many different recording setups. It's something that we struggle with a lot, but overall I think it's turning out quite well.
Great job :D
Great modding of an old game/engine too!
Love It!
