i have recived grim news that Liam Neeson (Phantom Menace, Shinler's List, Taken (my favorite)) will star on an episode of The Clone Wars as Qui Gon Jinn in a flashback. The reason why this rather joyas seeming news is grim happens to be because like we saw with Assajj, Maul (indirectly), Anikin, and Obi-Wan, i have reason to suspect that they will mess up Qui Gon's back story that has already been established by Comics and Scourcebooks.

seeing that we dont have anymembers with ties or even relation to someone within Lucas's or Daves's inner circle, we can only pray that Dave dosent mess with him.

"this is Delta289 and if your reading this, you are the Anti-Clone Wars Group.

Actually I kind of like them bringing back Qui-Gon...I mean they haven't screwed up Star Wars that much right? It is still canon and there are still only a handful of real contradictions. Its not all bad. But it can get ugly really REALLY fast.

I bet you guys saw this coming. Darth Maul is back from the dead!
Oh Lucasfilms. What jokers.

Btw Qui-Gon already dead so how could they murder him again? And It could almost make sence that he would come back as a vision due to the little hint Yoda gave us at the end of ROTS. Only thing is that it is early.

techinacally he did come back from the dead. there is actually a big article on him in wookieepedia (i get bored dont judge me) but he was atatched to reverse articulaed legs like grevious, and hunted kenobi for years until fighting him on tatooine on the llars homestead. they nearly killed each other but lars shot him in the head and told kenobi to get off his property and never come back.

That's actually not cannon. You see, that only appeared in Star Wars Visonaires (wich I have. If you don't believe me, then read this one particular story title "Wat Tambor and The Quest for The Eye of The Albino Cyclops"...8/.

Actually if I remember correctly Qui-Gon, preserved himself in the force (like Ben and Yoda later) therough somethimng, I believe it was the will of the wisps or something like that(it was in the series about Obi in the days after he had settled Luke down), but I do not recall any mention of it in the wars, but if they follow that storyline him appearing through force isn't, that far fetched, but they must tread lightly, or prepare for the wrath of the fans!!!!

They messed up Qui-Gon Jinn the moment the first letter of the Phantom menace script was written. You can't really get any worse.

The name of this post was misleading. I thought the actor of Qui-Gon Jinn was murdered.
