Hi everyone, thanks for all the interest in my little mod.

I haven't been able to work on Biomod for a while because I've been busy with other things, but since so many people want it, I think I can make the time to work on a new version that'll bring the mod up to date with Shifter, add the option to turn on Shifter's skill system and fix a bunch of other issues.

However, I'd prefer to wait for a "final" release of Shifter 1.9 before I do it. I used a beta version of Shifter as a base last time, and that turned out to be a mistake, resulting in a pretty serious bug (the Lebedev nonlethal issue) that went unnoticed for a long time. Letting that happen was my fault, of course, but I'd like to avoid problems like that in the future.

So there you have it. I will eventually update the mod, but I'm going to try to to do it all at once, and do it right, as I simply can't afford to continually support it on an ongoing basis the way I did before. Please be patient in the meantime. :)

Would definitely give this mod another go, especially with the option to enable shifters skill system.

YES! When it's done, it will be the perfect time to run around with a silenced pistol getting stealth head-shot bonuses.

All cool man cant wait gona replay when its out. There is a bug I want to point out so that it wont be missed. I came across this bug but and so did doog1114 Ill just post his comment talking about it since its exactly the same as what I experienced. I was also wondering if it would be possible to add iron sights to guns like in unreal revolution? Thx a lot for the best Deus ex mod!

Thanks for creating for the best gameplay mod for Deus Ex 1, bar none! I understand your position about waiting for Shifter to stabilize before merging in its latest delta. However, I was being impatient to replay Deus Ex with your mod, HDTP Release 2 meshes, and with high-resolution UI :-) I have gone ahead and merged the latest versions (SVN HEAD) of all of the above, and also updated all user interface icons and textures (inventory & belt icons re-rendered from scratch in 24-bit high-res, in particular), added more configurability and a bunch of bugfixes across the board, called it unifiedDeusEx, and posted it at Moddb.com . I have used DeusEx.u by The9thHeretic from below post as a starting point.

I have tested it via a full playthrough of Deus Ex campaign including Revision Demo 1.3.1 + HDTP Release 2 + New Vision, without any problems. Shifter codebase is quite mature, anyway.

Sorry abt hijacking the comments below for shameless plugging my mod :-), which is pretty much a merge of existing ones, anyway... Well, combining multiple mutually-exclusive DeusEx.u mods might be useful in itself.

I have also restored jumping height to default level for Athletics at UNTRAINED; no more getting stuck on the warehouse roof.
