I'm sad to say that at this time there are no plans to resurrect the Axanar: Strategic Operations mod. Over the last six months the development team has well and truly moved on to other projects, namely The Final Frontier, the gargantuan upcoming expansion to Armada 3.
In fact, fresh ideas are already being discussed for exciting future projects. See the Armada 3 page for teasers from Maxloef. ;)
We in the development team understand that this will be disappointing to many of you. We certainly understand that our supporters were looking forward to a Star Trek mod set in a period of the Star Trek timeline that has been rarely covered. We shared your disappointment when we ceased production of the mod. But Star Trek has always been about looking forward. We really appreciate the support we've received, and hope you'll continue to stick with us, through The Final Frontier and beyond!

While it won't be a RTs/4X like this was to be, at least I can look forward to the Agents of Yesterday Expansion for Star Trek: Online. Gonna have to try out the Daedalus as it was during TOS....
