The Animated Clone Wars Series is an alternative time-line, things that did not happon in the offical Star Wars Time-line. Look at it this way; we have the original Star wars time-line here "_____"and then we have the Animated Clone Wars series here "__/" breaking of and going in a diffrent time-line so don't feel harmed by these contractions because these things are all just a part of an alternative way the history might have went in the Star wars Universe.
Proper SW time-line: Film 1(TPM), 2(AofC), Star Wars the Clone Wars part 1 and 2, 3(RotS) - 4(ANH) 5(ESB) and 6(RotJ).
Clone Wars the Animated series: Film 1, 2 and then starts the series...
Oh and the animated cartoon series are before and after the clone wars cgi series.
i have no problem with this but how did you post articles up here? i didnt think regular members could do that
They can now :D
I would have to agree
Someone played Red Alert and Nazi Zombies a bit too much, but I agree.
I totally didn't make any connections to that :D
well i disagree anything created or done/approved by george lucas is 100% in the timeline. you have no clue if anakin had a padawan cause they skipped about 90% of the clone wars to get to anakin going over to the dark side you never know by the time of Ep3 she maybe a jedi knight and that's why you never seen her with anakin,
from what i read she was on some planet with rex and a couple of clones when order 66 was given and rex wouldn't follow the order so rex,her and the clones went in hiding and that's where their story ends
no way she could have become i knight before episode 3. the clone wars series takes place mere months before episode 3. anikin was around 24 years old when he was knighted in 20 bby, obi-wan, i think, was around 28. ahsoka is like 13 or 14? being a knight is a big responsability and a previledge, like being able to drive an automobile. you wouldnt let a 12 year old drive an automobile would you? this is what would happen: Youtube.com
lol JK but do you get the gist of what im saying? again, this alternate time-line idea is just that, an idea.
I would say that your comment makes perfect sense, but in a few books during this time frame in the series there are allusions to the idea that the Jedi were being so bled by the war that they were in essence "promoting" Padawans to Jedi positions solely for the purpose of commanding clone units. It makes one think of the 14-15 year olds defending Berlin against the Russian invasion in 1945. Once all the appropriately aged soldiers and officers are dead I suppose one must make do.
All that said, there are so many discrepancies in the Clone Wars movie (and I won't even acknowledge the tv series), that those details are almost irrelevant.
Rex would follow the order, ASOHKA MUST DIEZ!
Rex would not
I like the theory presented here, but not for Star Wars. We have the one of the largest assemblages of fiction writing ever created in the Star Wars universe. The last thing we need to do is split into numerous semi-realities and if-then circumstances. While it solves the current issue, it would just set up authors to say "Ohh, it's all right, this doesn't happen in the actual universe, just mine," And then we've got dozens of authors with there own version of the Star Wars universe and no longer the tight, unified, product that is the Star Wars Galaxy, as is. All we need is a few different versions of the same event, and the Expanded Universe turns into religion. We don't need that kind of conflict.
I actually have a really good alternate timeline/story. For the moment its on hold, but when I get back to it I'll finish it and post it. The only downside is that it is so UNCANNON, cause it basically eliminates the possibility for the Episode 4, 5, 6... and rest of expanded universe.
Anyway, I AM NOT DEAD!
dude you forgot the force unleashed inbetween 3 and 4
I'd have no problem with this but you left out the rest of the Entire Expanded Universe. Progression from the Clone wars and into the movies ins't what is contradicted, mots often, by the Series it's the Ex.U.
I like this idea, but I'd still rather just rewrite the Clone Wars so that it's canonical, and less kid-centric. Actually put some sort of moral context beyond Stages 1-2 Kohlberg's reasoning scale, for once.
