Return of Shadow Status Update

So as you guys may have noticed I've been pretty quiet lately due to real life commitments but things on that front are stabilising and now I'm back at work on the Return of Shadow.
I'm working away but I'm not sure what form Beta 0.3 will take at the moment.
Beta 0.3 has gone from being a regular +faction release to something bigger with the start of the Great Balancing, the release of the Free Peoples faction and a general overhaul of things.

I'm still hoping to release a new faction with the next release (not even sure if 0.3 will be the next release or if it'll be called that) as it stands there is 4 potential factions that could be released since they are at around the same point in development Rhun, Harad, Strongholds and Morgul and the next release could very well have any combination of those factions.

But it's not just the new factions that are being worked on there's still part 2 of the Great Balancing being worked on with Lorien and Rivendell reviews being planned both with some significant new changes.

Other new ideas are being thrown around for new systems or ways to rework old ones there's been a lot of brainstorming lately.

Beta 0.3?

So in the last couple years I've added a few surprises that even I hadn't really planned and with the "third" major beta I already have more than half of the factions playable including an unplanned faction.

So there might be a change to the numbering.

I'm hoping to throw together a couple new showcase topics for the Lorien and Rivendell changes.

So for now stay tuned for more news but don't expect a new release too soon but when I am ready it should be worth it.
