Hello my friends!
After almost a month of waiting, we are bringing out our brand new and polished Public Beta 5!
And what's new? We have re-added some of the earlier removed ships like the Bc304B or the Jaffa Destroyer! And we are bringing you some brand new models, like:
Bc305(textured) Midway station
Goa'uld battle station
Added new missions, like: The Battle for Aldana and Omens of War (fan mission made by Socarr). We have updated some of our older models, like the Al'kesh or the Beliskner and the Bc303, Bc304, Death glider and Ancient frigate just got a lot more detailed! We have upgraded the batch files for Vista, for a more smoother and bug free multiplayer conversion! We have rebalanced the fighters! We have resized some explosions, to make the game more playable! And we fixed a lot of crash problems, including the docking fighters to exploading ship problem!
So enjoy this new beta, and prepare for a much more polished War Begins experience!

Played through it and I like it even more :)
There is one things though, on two of the missions (Surprise and another one) the shields take ages and ages to charge up and I invariably end up getting wasted.

Yeah, it was a little mistake, we mixed up the files :P
I placed together a fix for those missions and the public will be re-upload soon.
is there a multi mod?
yep. Just hit the mutator and you're good to go.
the mutator?excuse me but what is a mutator? i'm french
"Mod to MP.bat" file will convert game to Multiplayer and "Mod to SP.bat" will convert game back to Singleplayer. Both files are in folder with mod.

yes i'm on vista.The mod to multiplayer (vista) don't work too.
that was what I was afraid of... guess I'll have to put together a manual switch again...
here: this rar contains two files: mutation_multi and mutation_single. On each of this folders there's a "universe" folder, copy it and paste it in the \***\Nexus - The Jupiter Incident\mods\Stargate War Begins PB 5\ folder, overwriting whatever you're asked to overwrite.
(for example, if you want to play multiplayer, copy the universe folder in the mutation_multi one)
