u can also note that the constitutions 'full salvo' ability gives it a more 'beam' type fire as the red shots are fired in very quick succession, and it does very heavy damage even to tier 2s." (edited version of his comment)

by what i played it seems great, im not a specialist in ST, but our own ST specialist said that they look like the ones in the movies and series.
me and the team will be answering questions but Spino only will be able to do it when he arrives back.
i have the feeling that you guys will have your new open beta soon

Only thing I see that I would like to know about is you have the Intrepid class using quantum (blue) torpedoes but I only remember them having photons? This just being done for balance or what?

It wouldn't be a real issue, the Intrepid was in the right era for Quantums. If you're thinking that they just never appeared on Voyager it would be a supply chain issue ;)

The only thing i'm worried about is the new movie effects being used on the old movie refit Enterprise! It looks odd seeing pulses where beams once were...

i agree, the mod should use the old movie particles due to the fact that the old movie refit/model is being used. If the new movie refit/model were to be created and used...well that'd be a different story ;)
