Background

The Scrin used to be normal spieces before the Tiberium arrived on their planet. Tiberium mutated its population and left only some of their organic part still operational. But the Scrin managed to use Tiberium, and advanced their cybernetic technology. All Scrin then, were enchased with cybernetics, in order to be operational. While most of the Scrin were enchased with cheap cybernetics, the Stalwarts used the most costly, being the elite of the Scrin. Their uniform and weapons are believed to resemble how the Scrin were before the mutation and their legion was usually formed by battlefield commanders, but sometimes they were elite Scrin soldiers who were promoted in battle.

The Stalwarts arrived on Earth after the first five days of the invasion, as the Scrin had underestimated the human resistance and thought they could win without any elite forces. By the time the Thresolds got under attack by GDI, the Scrin Overlord ordered their deployment on Earth. The Stalwarts were used by Scrin not only for Thresold protection, but for offensive reasons too, as their fusion cannons could burn down structures very fast. They could teleport anywhere on the battlefield by using their Blink Packs, and their abillity to act like human infantry allowed them to enter human structures. Their Spear could launch electrism on a close distance, and that allowed them to damage enemy electronic systems and vehicles, but also could burn to death enemy infantry located in closed spaces. While being commanders, they could use translation devices, which could translate any dialect or language to Scrin and the other way around, in order to negotiate with the other species if required. They were also outfited with stealth detection devices, which were really usefull for detecting Nod stealthed facillities.

"Commander, we don't know what to do here. We captured one of those sons of ***** but it still freaking dangerous, it killed one of my troops, but the most freaking part is that it can talk! No sir, it's not talking like the other aliens, it's talking English. I know sir, thats what i thought too but |\||\\||\||\|\ Sir, the alien teleported itself out of the cage! Sir we need immediate reinforc--END TRANSMITION--"

--Platoon Beta 12 Soldier, "New Heden"--

Not Only Infantry Killers

The Stalwarts use plasma guns which are powerful against infantry, but in huge numbers they are a serious threat to anything on the ground. They can also use their Spears to damage heavier vehicles and clear garissons. They are also the only Scrin unit which can fire out of a garisson.

No Need to Take a Taxi!
The Stalwarts can be upgraded with Blink Packs, which give them the abillity to teleport to a close location on the battlefield. This abillity can be used to pass behind enemy lines unnoticed, move over chasms or to lure an enemy into a trap.
