LOST ALPHA - DEVELOPER'S CUT 1.4005
Chestnuts roasting on an open fire, and we are decorating the xmas tree, baking gingerbread cookies and staying with our family, those we belong to! During this long journey we realised, our family became a bit bigger, because we have many new friends since 2009, when we first announced Lost Alpha.
An Xmas holiday season - which starts from 20th of December to 7th of January for us - wouldn't be full without you guys and girls! You are part of our family as well. We've worked worked a lot in 2017 on DC, and now we would like to share something special with you. A full Lost Alpha DC 1.4005. What does it mean? It's a full official repack with the base Lost Alpha game, and all patches and addons bundled together up till now! It's a game, which contains hundreds of fixes, and if not more addons, and extras since the first DC release.
Speaking of addons, concurrently or just shortly after the release of this new version, a new unofficial addon will be uploaded, changing some fundamentals of gameplay, and bringing a new look to weapons, but also new weapons and items as well. It will use our new addon framework, which will make installing new content a breeze.
How to install it?
Simple as that. Download the DC 1.4005 installer (zipped package), unpack all parts, run setup. Install the game somewhere, and play. New game start needed! Do not install this version on a previous Lost Alpha installation, keep it separated. We are working on a smaller installer, which can be installed on previous 1.4002 patch for those, who do not want to redownload the game, just the new stuff since the previous official patch.

Also nice to see some of the good stuff that was added to CoC in here too. Really hope that this release will feel higher quality than before.
Get the torrent up ASAP, I've had multiple failed downloads and issues with corruption from the moddb links. I am not sure if this is with everyone, but part 1 every time I run it runs Winrar with all of the characters replaced with ???? aka missing characters
Apparently the dude that packed it was Russian, works fine though. Just plug in the desired path and click on the 'ok' button. Bottom left, I believe.

The line in the changelog about the controller sway not effecting you on the surface of Agropom made me very happy. Makes sense in the tunnels, not so much up top, thank you. A lot of interesting changes/tweaks, should be interesting.

Is there a way to switch the spoken language to Russian? I switched the interface to Russian, but Sidorovich still speaks English

Hello chaps, loving the game so far, although going to fox to get some upgrades results in a freze with this in the log:
[error]Arguments : LUA error: ... alpha dc\gamedata\scripts\inventory_upgrades.script:331: attempt to index local 'item' (a nil value)
Its also a bit crashy, this is with the 1.3 update with weapons+patch.
Me again, fixed it by copying the i_u.script lines to the 1.3 update.

I'm having a small issue, when I install the extended pack the game switches to Russian, all text in the main menu is in Russian, when I launch the base game without the extended pack its in English. I tried ot a few days ago and it worked fine but I had to reinstall and now its just switching to Russian, any help would be appreciated
Just Google a screenshot of the menu in English - then follow the same visual path to turn to English language
After spending quite a few hours on this mod, the only thing I feel is missing is more roaming bandits? Those random attacks from strangers to keep things spiced up on long travels?...
Hello, I'm getting a crash at the assault on the mercenary base with ghost at the army warehouses. Right when the countdown to the blowout is supposed to appear. Can anybody help me?
Did they remove the artifacts in the stash from eye of the storm or they just spawn in particular conditions??
There was just an mp5 and the log for the leap of faith (I bought the info from the bar of course)

Is there anyway of getting English speaking actors? They all speak in Russian and my game is preferably all English translated.
I checked GameData folder and there's no Sound folder.
Actor.ltx doesn't have any voiceover change, just language
And the fsgame.ltx doesn't have options either. Am I screwed for understanding the game?
