SkullDive Dev Diary #6 - Alpha progress, fan art and more! news

Two days since the last DevBlog and a lot of features have changed at SkullDive!
From now on I will insert a progress bar in every DevBlog showing the percentage of SkullDive alpha build.

Now let's take a look to the alpha changes.

The layout is pretty simple, the only "weird stuff" in SkullDive is that the camera will rotate only when you're not walking or jumping. If you have any suggestion/request I will hear it gladly!

Skill System Upgrades

As you can see at the Keyboard layout I've introduced a new skill bind system, you will need to open the skill selector (time will slow down a bit but you can't move while doing) and then you can press 1,2,3,4,5 to bind that skill to the Active Skill Hotkey(E).

The skill system now works can be bended as your will, what means this?

While you're exploring the dungeons you will unlock power ups and new skill sets, this means that you can customize the entire Skill Set of SkullDive!(Awesome!)

Environment System Upgrades

With this update you will not need any more to use the mouse to unlock doors or even(if you want/only pc) interact with the items placed in the dungeon.

The system will detect automatically if you're near an intractable object and will show you a hint to let you know that you can activate the entity.

Inventory System Upgrades

The inventory has been redesigned to make you feel more comfortable with it, now whatever item you pick will send a message giving you the following information:
- What have you picked up.
- The quantity.
- The rarity ( Font Coloring system )
