Post news Report RSS Sith Training

This is how Sith Masters should train their Apprentices. This is a basic guideline showing the minimum a Sith should know.

How to train your Apprentice.

"Choose someone as a successor and you will inevitably be succeeded.
Choose someone hungrier and you will be devoured.
Choose someone quicker and you won't dodge the blade at your back.
Choose someone with more patience and you won't block the blade at your throat.
Choose someone more devious and you'll hold the blade that kills you.
Choose someone more clever and you'll never know your end.
Despite these cautions, an apprentice is essential.
A Master without an apprentice is a Master of nothing."

Part 1: History of the Sith.

Each lesson should have a bit of History on the Sith to give your Apprentice the general idea of what has happened. You should at the very least explain the founding of the Sith, their rises to power (Notably the first and second Jedi Purges), important figures (Ajunta Pall, Darth Revan, Darth Bane ect.). You don`t have to cover every single detail. Just enough for a general idea. If they would like to know more details, you can point them to suitable texts.

Part 2: The Dark Side of the Force.

Each lesson should also have one or two force powers. The force powers taught to an Apprentice varies with each discipline.
For example:
· A Sith Marauder won`t learn force lighting straight away, but he shall learn rage.
· Where as a Sith Inquisitor shall learn force lightning early on because it is commonly used, but they have no use for Rage.
Here are the force powers every Apprentice must know at the very least:
· Force push
· Force pull
· Force choke
· Saber throw.
After that it depends entirely on the Discipline.

Part 3: Research
pics

Use Knowledge Assignments to make them look and research various topics. Ask them "who killed Bane and why?" or "what year did the Jedi Civil War start in and when did it end? Who won?" Little details are the hardest to find and make Apprentices search really hard.

Part 4: What would you do?

I use things called "Situations". You put the Apprentice in any situation you want and see how he reacts. I usually put two different choices when I want something specific, but you can just see how they react and if it was the correct course of action. Situations can vary. You could place him/her on a Burning Star Destroyer or on an Asteroid Base, against a ton of Republic soldiers of a couple of Jedi.

Part 5: First Mission

Now we move onto the final part. Tasks. Set a task for your Apprentice. Tell him to fetch a Jedi`s lightsaber and describe how he did it, or ask him to recite the Sith code. Tell him to capture a Republic Ship and detail how he captured it. This is truly where you and your Apprentice's imagination comes into work.

Note: Your Apprentice doesn`t have a lightsaber from the start. One must be constructed after the second or third lesson in a task. In the first lesson the task must be Sith Code related. It must involve him reciting the code and then doing something else.

It is the apprentice's duty to learn all that he can from the Master, and the Master's right to refrain from revealing all of his secrets." ―Darth Sidious

If someone can tell me how to add images onto the article itself, then PM me how. I was going to put an image to illustrate each "Part" but can`t seem to add any pictures...

Most impressive. I love how the Sith are consistently organizing and formulating our structure reinforcing the discipline that makes us strong while the Jedi are slowly crumbling amid infighting and disintegrating cohesion of their order in general.

I agree. I guess it`s hard to find cool ranks and pictures as a jedi... No fireworks or lightning, or cool red lightsabers... It must be difficult to be a jedi...
