Well guys, I can't believe its already been a month since our last Mod of the Month! It's great to see we're getting to be a little more consistent than we have been in the past. modDB old timers will know what i'm talking about... Anyway, so Joe has written us the lovely September Mod of the Month article on The Hidden: Source. It's a great read, I just read it myself! Seems like some of these trainees are doing their job well so far. So as always, please do not hestitate to check it out.

It's a fun mod, more variety will be grand.
Possibly the ability to upgrade yourself after a 'level up' to get better things

Are you kidding me this mod is amazing. The online experience it provides is unequal in terms of tension and thrill factor. No online game or mod has ever had that effect on me. Did I see it, didnt i see it, the number of times id just fire a few rounds to make sure, the distance in metres ive jumped out of my seat as a skilled hidden pounces out of nowhere, the unaceptable high number of friendly kills ive managed to rack up as ive fired in panick into a tight nit formation of friendlies as the hidden slashed through them towards me..... Simply brilliant. This mod is amazing, but the best part is that there is simply so much more that can be done with this mod, hopefully this is just the beginning.
i still don't accept it, it is indeed the opposite of fun for me. there's too many dickheads that play too.
That sounds like the problem is with the people you play with.
I place my vote with the pro-hidden-ers, it is one of the few multiplayer mods to create such strong tension in a multiplayer environment.
Totaly agree with radarhead, this mod is simply ... brilliant, i'm baffeled as to how anyone can dislike this mod, and could you list out why you don't like this mod?

I was totaly at awe when I first played this and still am. Roll on B2. If your looking for a good game oin the hidden forums Forum.hidden-source.com and find out what the hiddenites are doing.
I just don't like it. Fighting sombody invisible is just boring.
to sum up my feeling for this:
It's a game for the easily entertained.
Then you arnt playing with the right crowd. How can adrenain rushes be boring. Granted if you up against someone good it is boring if you die oer and over again but you just persivier.
Or maybe you just aren't good at it.
If some people dont like it they dont like it, thats life. We knew that not everyone would like the mod, thats a fact of life, you cant make something that EVERYONE will love, its just not possible.
However I will say that on the sites where we have news posts and information, most comments are positive, I rarely read a bad comment about the mod, so we must be doing something right. Some of you dont like it, thats fair enough, you have said your piece, now lets move on and not flame each other over personal tastes and opinions.
I suggest playing the mod, then being dissapointed since UT has already done it, along with many other games.
