This article and download can be useful only for modders! Release of SDK files for level editor/3D software work, for all.spawn compiling etc. The complete SDK/editors folder compressed to a 10 GB 7zip.

SDK files are released for modders. Now you can compile all.spawn with xrAI, modify maps with 3D softwares and compile them, or design the game as a developer would do.

  • install COP SDK: COP SDK
  • grab unofficial patch: COP SDK patch
  • download my CoC_SDK_editors.7z, unzip with 7zip (you need +36 GB free place) , and overwrite everything in your SDK\editors folder
  • CoC scenes are in SDK\editors\rawdata\levels folder
  • run editors\3_xrAI_allspawn.bat to make a new all.spawn for CoC

Known issues:

  1. for some reason, Dead City and Generators scenes (l09_deadcity.level,l13_generators.level) are always missing some trees from the default sector, when you open these scenes in level editor, which makes the scene invalid. To fix this, select the default sector and press "Capture volume". You must do this every time you want to export something from these scenes. I don't know the reason, but it affects nothing.
  2. the level editor often throws "name[Sector_DEFAULT] already exist in section", "nodefault reached" or "bbox" related fatal error messages, just ignore these and press "Continue". X-ray SDK is made for keep you entertained.

You are working on this mod very hardly 0_0 .. Never seen anything like this.
Every day you post something, just wow! Rly nice and... GJ! :) Not like those other mod makers. Esspecialy slow russians. But atleast they make very good mods.

i hate to post tech support questions here but i'm having trouble starting up some of the tools. i installed everything in the correct order (CoP SDK, CoP SDK patch, CoC SDK) but when i go to launch stuff like LevelEditor or ActorEditor i get the splash screen, an error beep, and then it locks up.

i imagine it has to do with the fs file given how early on in the startup process i get the error, but there's no error message and no log being generated so i can't troubleshoot it myself -- just a beep and a hang until i kill the process.

is there some process i'm supposed to go through to set up the tools or did i break the install order orrrrrr

pls respond

Without error log messages, hard to tell anything.
I'm waiting for someone else too, to tell can you start the level editor or not.

I already saw a downloader posted a picture about the opened Trucks Cemetery map in SDK, so i guess the error is on your side:

Try not to install COP SDK to C: drive, or try to run the editors from X: drive (you have to edit X-Ray CoP SDK\scripts_plugins\mountDisks.cmd file and run it before opening SDK)

i ran mountdisks.cmd already but that hasn't helped. could i possibly be missing some dependencies or would all of those have been included in the installer?

i'm honestly at a loss as to what i could've messed up orz

i got it to open somehow, i quickly defocused the splash screen as it was opening and apparently that tricked it into loading or something. so i guess it works sometimes but not other times?

anyway sorry for bothering you i think this should be okay now thank you~

Let me guess, you have Windows 8 or 10? I still use Windows 7 for SDK stuff.

I'm sure you did hear about it on GSC forums:

It adds Maya dll-s for export/import + ActorEditorLevel.cform file, which is a file with collision info for an ActorEditor scene, required for correct Simulate feature execution.

First I have seen download section and I thought that it will be good to provide links for vanilla SDK + patches, so we can have everything on one page.

Today I opened this article and see that you have already did this :)

Great job on this, SDK and documentation is even more valuable to community than CoC mod itself. Some rookie stalker might be inspired by all this and raise CoC to new level.

More than likely down to the 36GB size, if the files are all in a totally raw format I'd suggest uploading another package with the files in a compressed format (eg; tga > dds) and if all the .object stuff is in a completely raw state combine what you can to a merged format. Download size should be significantly smaller then so more people should be willing to seed it.

Hello. I just downloaded and tried this SDK, im total newbie in this thing - but i understand a lot, BUT 1 thing i dont - the SDK crashes All the time when i want to spawn, move/rotate etc any object. What could be the problem? I need some log to understand how to fix it?
