Post news Report RSS Republic at War v1.1.5

A Republic at War news update for the month of June, 2013.

Posted by on

Current Project Status (beta)
After just two weeks, we have patched over 50 new game bugs and balance issues. This would not have been possible without a team of dedicated testers of whom have as much passion for the project as we do. We'd just like to thank the testing team for the great work that they've done to help bring this mod up to the quality standard that we are always striving to achieve. Those that have contributed will be kept on permanently and will have access to internal patches as we make our way past v1.1.5 and towards the v1.2 release. Thanks again.

Revised Game Manual
As we've mentioned in the past, the game manual will be revised to reflect the changes that have been made since Republic at War v1.1. The manual will also be re-written to reflect our commitment to quality. Although it won't launch with the v1.1.5 release, we're actively working to get it out as soon as possible. The current game manual will still be available until the revised manual is ready.

That's correct.

The installer is dead simple to use. You shouldn't have any problems.

Will the 1.1.5 have an installer again? The mod never gave me any troubles with a retail EAW gold version.

But since it is made into a rar, it always just launches vanilla FoC.

Is there a resolution for the unresponsive CIS AI in Skirmish? I did not see it listed in the bug list as either resolved or unresolved.

Does patch fix the blitzkrieg AI tactics in GC or at least give us more time before they start cutting us apart

LOL, deal with it.
I have. Learn the CIS' weakness and exploit it. Know where your Turbo Lasers sites/planets are and build-up your fleets around them. Yes you will lose fight after fight... but for every fight you lose make them lose territory after territory.
