it's like nothing goes well again. when you have followed the development of this 4th HL2 sp-mod of us then you know why we had to delay before. But, after much work and effort we finished the mod and could it be released. Till 3 weeks ago, suddenly my computer broke down, just before release. The "funny" thing is that with our last sp-mod, called Strider Mountain the same happened. Just when we released it my video card broken down and i couldn't witness the release.
And now my power supply has broken down. Normally you buy a new one for around 120 euros, (i need a 750 W) and put it in, takes about 1 day max. But no, i have a Dell XPS 710 dual core 2.4 Ghz, that is 3,5 years old now. And that one has a very special 750 W. power supply that feeds the motherboard with 2 power cables. and these power supplies are so special that they cost 289 euros and it takes weeks before i have it at home. They first promised me 1,5 weeks max. but just today i heart that it could take another 2 weeks extra......
man, i am getting so sick of this all.
i am now using a very old 2.4 Ghz laptop, that i super slow and half broken too.
so, i have to wait till i my my own pc working again before the mod can be released.
Please wait with me, this mod is truly worth it, it will give you around 10 hours fun, give or take.

and quiting is no option to me, when you work for so many months or sometimes even years on a mod or mappack then quiting is no option anymore. it would be a huge waste of time then, and, i guess i will always regret it that i didn't finish it. so, all we can do is go on till it's done. but like i said, it's done already, just need to wait for the power supply and it can be released.
