Hey guys, just bringing you this quick news update saying that you can now donate to help out Faceless, and allow us to pay for our dedicated server fees for when the mod launches in December (closed beta) and in March for the full release. Your donations will allow us to pay for a variety of servers around the world which could provide an optimal experience for everyone wanting to play Faceless, and can just hop into a game without having to set one up, unless you want to.

We have a variety of awards/perks too for people who donate to the mod, and some of those are:

  • Access to the closed beta in December. That means, you can get your hands on the game before anyone else, and even play with developers. You'll also be an important part in the development of the game as you'll be helping us squash bugs, and also allowing us developers to see if other people can get scared. It's a win-win situation for everyone.
  • The chance to get yourself in-game as a playable character in the future, or have your face put on a poster for people to see in the game while exploring maps, etc.
  • A free copy of the next game we develop that we plan on selling. That's right, you'll get the next game free of charge when it releases, as well as early access to the beta for that as well (Note: Next game isn't in development yet, do not ask what it is)

Again, all your support for Faceless is amazing and your donations will be equally as amazing, and you'll be providing a service for all members, and people in the community who want to play this. You guys rock, and I can't wait to see you all in the closed beta, come December. Thanks again, and you can find the Indiegogo campaign here -

Honestly, it's a LOT cheaper to just buy a bunch of old Computers, a couple SeaGate Hard Drives that are about 500GBs to 1TBs, and some RAM, and make your own Server in your basement or something. XD

Like, 3 of those will do and it would only cost a flat-line of like maybe 400 to 500 dollars. I've seen SATA PCs sell for as low as 50 bucks, and those SeaGate drives also sell for about 50 dollars. Some SATA PCs even use PCI RAM which is also pretty cheap, about 20 bucks for 512 MBs.

In my opinion, this is much cheaper than say paying a monthly fee for a server with a lot of power that you don't really need.

I'd do that, but my apartment is tiny and I can't justify a reason to that.
