The award winning Project Reality and Black Sand Studio teams are proud to announce the official release of Project Reality: BF2 v0.98!
In the last year, we have released several addons, or DLC, for Project Reality: BF2 v0.97. These addons have added over a dozen new maps, multiple new factions, and some amazing new gameplay to PR:BF2. However, new and old players alike have found it difficult to understand exactly what addons or versions they needed to install. Well, the PR:BF2 v0.98 patch eliminates all that confusion by merging all the addons into a single installer. Server administrators will now be able to run all the new maps without the fear of losing players who may not have the required addon installed and players will be able to enjoy all the new factions, assets and maps.
Please note that the PR:BF2 v0.98 release is only available as a patch and PR:BF2 v0.97 is required. This version is not an optional DLC, so even if all the addons are currently installed, the v0.98 patch must be installed.

Included Addons and Map Packs
The PR:BF2 v0.98 patch only consists of the 4 previously released PR:BF2 v0.97 addons. There is no new content and none of the existing maps have been modified. This patch has been released for the sole purpose of unifying the addons to simplify the install process for the PR community. We want to see all the maps included in the addons acquire the playing time they deserve.
The following addons are included in v0.98:
- PR:BF2 v0.97 Map Pack (7 new maps)
- PR:BF2 Vietnam Addon (5 new maps, 3 new factions)
- PR:BF2 Falklands Addon (2 new maps, 2 new factions)
- PR:BF2 Normandy Addon (4 new maps, 2 new factions)
Project Reality: BF2 v0.98 Server Files
If you currently host a Project Reality game server, you should have received the server files for Project Reality: BF2 v0.98 via the Server Admin Control Panel in the last few hours. If you are interested in hosting a new game server, please follow the link below to apply for a server license.

Yes, there are still plenty of servers running with most of them full. There will be a bigger influx when 1.0 arrives.

Plenty of people play it. You just have to make sure you use Mumble if you want the best gaming experience on it :)

You could play against mods in earlier releases already.. - create local, set bots, play.

You probably installed it wrong, Or your Computer just can't handle the amount of content PR has.
no redownloaded and reinstalled twice plus i can play online fine no problems just can't play bots so its not my PC
I can't simply answer that then.
And what's the error like anyway? Does it crash while loading or something?
Try running it in windowed mode, to figure out the error (Just in case that you're gonna ask me about how, you might want to find out first).
i tried everything all i know is when i went to start a level it would automatically crash with no error or nothing its fine i don't care that much anymore PR just isnt for playing bots i guess
Don't know about that. But i recently play Co-Op LAN (with bots of course) and it's still very fun lol.
On my PR:Mumble, V1.0.0, the latest one, i cannot connect to the mumble server. I've tried everthing i can think of, Restarting, reinstalling, turning router off and on and redownloading. Everything else is set up such as mic and headset its just i cannot cannect. All i get is a constant stream of 'server connection failed: connection timed out' Plz anyone help i want to use mumble!!!
Never mind. Its sorted. To anyone with a similar issue, all i did with mine was went on configure, certificate wizard, made a trusted certificate and then left it disconnected for bout an hour. Works fine now :)
