Project cancelled news

People who works on game development often think that making a game is similar to make a way. Is not a lonely way but otherwise. On each step, people and more people follows the same path.

That's what happened with Arrangement.

At the beggining, this mod was an idea bumping on someone's head. To make it true, I shared that idea with other people. There were discussions, we agreed and disagreed, cofee, msn chats. We discussed, since day one, what the game would be like, taking into account every single detail. Because it wasn't easy to get 10 people work on the same page.

Nevertheless, each person helped and this project became true.

You might know that making a game requieres people with knowledge on many aspects. But also needs people to test it and give comments. We often focused on people, the ones who, in the end, plays the game. That's why the project was so great, because people approved or disapproved what we were doing.

A project like this needed experts, that's why many great persons from around the globe gave his comments who helped this mod greatly.

All that hard work takes time, we took almost 6 years to get a solid prototype but sadly, real life got in the way. So, we all agreed to cancel the project and save energy for ourselves. People were always on our side, we gain tons of experience, we had fun. We won.

I am happy because Arrangement really looks and feels to what I had in mind, back in 2005.
I'd like to thank everyone who followed the project since day one.

I hope we all get together in another project in the future.
