Hey there Moddb,
Alex here, co-leader of Verloren. I would just like to apologize for a lack of updates. There have been a lot of disruptions as of recent- Elliot, head of the mod, has moved recently, and as for myself all of my time has been consumed by a horror known as "band". We simply haven't had the time to seriously progress recently.
However, we are still progressing nonetheless! A major update is scheduled for early 2013.
Now, while Elliot and I are quite excellent and slightly vainglorious modders, we still need help. Verloren is a very ambitious project, with vast landscapes that are challenging to map. We have great plans in store, but in order for them to become a reality, we need YOU to pitch in! If you are interested in helping us produce Verloren, shoot one of us a message over Moddb. Landscape mappers are preferred, but we'd be happy to take on anyone with some skill in SDK.

is this an action mod or a story mod like dear esther?
more story than anything, we give you the structured world and a story for it, but it is not action, more thriller...or trying to make it so
no weapons
no running
Is it going to be a sad story, or a happy.
Ahhhh, we can't tell you the ending, but, we would like to give a certain degree of control over the ending, however, not necessarily a good ending.
that is a real shame, i love story driven mods and games. but some action i do need in there, something like Esther i didn't like at all.
But, that is just personal. i know a whole lot of people did like it, so this will probably liked just as much.

It shall have enemies, but you won't be able to confront them without dying, part of the whole "horror" spin on it :)
As usual, I'm in agreement with the Spy man in regard to some action, but I also enjoyed DE immensely. Let's just wait and see what the team has in store and we can call it then. All the best !
P.S. Will your in-game actions be designed to have any impact on the ultimate outcome ?
We did consider in-game actions, but we decided that it would be a little complicated for what we wanted to do if it had gone forward, but I think it will work well just as well without them :)
