I've continued to work on the sprites and textures of the game recently, and finally feel like I'm getting them to a decent standard.
As an example, here's how three of the enemies in Prisoner look now.
And below is an example of how these look in-game.
Developing the sprites has proven to be quite time consuming, so I am going to take a break from drawing them to develop a few more maps for the game. Spending a couple of weeks knee deep in the level editor should see me come up with the majority of the maps for the game.
In other news, I've purchased an SDK for mobile devices, including Android phones and the Ouya console. I've experimented with a few examples and I'm pleased with the results.
I am interested in porting Prisoner to such devices, but not until after I've completed the PC edition of the game.
